Focus Group: the Origins of our Music Video - discussing artist name and what the audience expect to see

In our first focus group, we asked the following questions:

From the auditions we showed you, who do you think most suits our song?

From the locations we showed you what do you think is more suited for our music video?

What institution name do you think is best out of the ones we have shown you?

Out of the artist names, which do you prefer?

What clothes do you associate with indie music?

What image do you expect the logo to have?

What colours would you expect on the logo?

Having since conducted our focus group, Yoli and I have concluded the following:

 - We have reconsidered Ella, Mia and Robyn's audition, and have come to the decision of casting Robyn.
 - We shall explore locations that link to water such as rivers, docks and beaches, along with locations that connote to playing such as parks.
 -  When choosing an institution name, our target audience liked BeBop Happy and Melody Music - between Yoli and I, BeBop Happy is our favourite.
 -  When Cailin suggested 'Robyn' and linked it to artists such as Sia, we knew we had stumbled across the perfect artist name for our project.
 - When considering clothing, denim immediately was blurted out by Ella, which was also one of the more popular results from our questionnaire. This was reinforced by Cailin's suggestion of casual clothing. Yoli and I are thus sure to use denim in our project, and as an avid lover of bohemian patterns myself, I'd love to explore that style in more depth too.
 - Yoli and I adore the idea of having a bird representative both of Robyn and of songbirds (and thus music) is a great image to have as our logo - I am happy to inspire a few designs on this concept.
 - Pastel blues and pinks are gentle colours that represent themes of childhood and growing up really well, and so I think Justin's suggestion is certainly one we'll strongly take into account!
