Costume: Finlay

For Finlay, we wanted to portray childhood - filled with colour, bright ideas and imagination. For this reason, similarly to Isabel's costume, we wanted a colourful, eye-catching outfit palette to work from. In order to ensure continuity in the growth of the characters, we wanted to extend the denim trend over to the children as well as our teens. We want our characters to be relatable, so I took a little of Finlay's own personality into consideration when designing this mood board - his interests in gaming and science are stereotypical and universal for many boys, therefore those themes can be seen in t-shirts and concept ideas.
