Auditions: Ella Miller

Ella was a pleasure to audition - professional and excited to take part, it took only a couple of takes for a successful audition tape. Yoli and I agree that even though sometimes lip syncing can look unnatural, the way Ella "sings" the words looks as though she's genuinely performing it. Ella both sat and stood for us when auditioning - when standing, she wasn't really performing/using movement as an artist would. As most of our shots will be of our artist standing, we'll definitely have to take this into consideration. Nonetheless, Ella's interview presents her as bubbly and open, and she actually reminds me of the original artist, Maisie Peters, a little. Overall, I think Ella is another strong candidate as our talent.
