Costume: Robyn

The original artist of our song, "Build A Boat" is Maisie Peters, who has a very particular style honest to her. Including patterns (florals and polka dots), and denim-wear, Maisie's style is enhanced by her personality. Though iconic, we felt it wouldn't work if we tried to replicate her style onto Robyn. Instead, we took the denim aspect and asked Robyn to wear bright colours, but to stay true to her style otherwise. This way, there is an honesty and slight vulnerably to our artist, creating a message of staying true to oneself and hopefully becoming relatable and inspirational to our audience.
