Costume: Arthur

When deciding on the style of our artist's love interest, at first we weren't sure how we wanted Arthur to be portrayed. We knew we wanted to obviously show a link between Robyn and Arthur, hence the visibility of denim in both of their costumes. When listening to Maisie's lyrics, she creates beautiful imagery in our heads - we wanted to allow our characters to also be seen as art. Thus, we wanted Arthur to be colourful and as obscure as a painting. The personality he brings through the screen would be enhanced by bright, odd colours such as orange or yellow. Also, taking note of the fashion industry currently, nude colours are really popular. Although we wanted Arthur to be bright, we also wanted him to bring a cool, breezy vibe, as seen through the eyes of our artist. The lyrics are stumbling over themselves in their daydream of the love interest, so we wanted Arthur to be stylish, but unique.
